6 Months!!!

We must have been busy this last month, sorry for the lack of updates! I will try to do better! We are all doing well and despite my pleas for Nolan to stay a baby forever, he continues to grow and change everyday! He is now 6 months old!!!! Here are some stats:

Weight- Not sure, we go back to the MD on Thursday, guessing around 17.
Length- 26.5 inches, best guess
Diaper size-  size 3
Clothes size- Mostly 9-12 month onesies, 6-9 month bottoms
Eye Color as of today- dark blue still
Hair Color as of today- I think he has more hair these days, still very fuzzy but more blond twigs than anything else.
Food- we started solids a few weeks ago and he loves it and eats like a champ, I'm sure he gets his love of food from both his parents! So far we have introduced him to oatmeal, rice cereal, avocado, banana, and sweet potatoes. Up next is yogurt! He still nurses/takes a bottle about 5 times a day, but now eats 6-8 ounces at a time (I think this has been very helpful for Mommy getting below pre-preggo weight...)
Sleep- Still sleeps like a rock star! Goes to bed between 6 and 630pm, wakes up to eat between 530 and 7, if he wakes before 6 he will go back to sleep til 7. Continues to take 2-naps a day and is starting to sleep longer during nap times, even at school!
Favorite things- He is loving books even more these days, also likes to scoot around in his walker and jumps in his exersaucer! He's a happy boy most of the time, no matter what he is playing with! Here are some pics from this month!

5 Months!

Nolan is 5 months old! I can't believe it! Here are his 5 month stats:

Weight- best guess is 16.5 pounds
Length- 26 inches, also a guess...
Diaper size- graduated to size 3
Clothes size-mostly 6-9/12 month, I had to put all our 3 month stuff away!
Eye Color as of today- dark blue still
Hair Color as of today- I think he has more...but still has the dark brown patch in the back and on top it looks more blond
Food- still eats 5-6 times a day, no solids yet, eating lots more in his bottles these days (6-8 ounces at a time!!!), we plan to start solids in the next few weeks
Sleep- Still sleeps like a rock star! Goes to bed between 6 and 630pm, wakes up to eat between 430 and 7, if he wakes before 6 he will go back to sleep til 7 (430 is earlier than before, but I think it's because he is eating more these days...). Continues to take 2-3 naps a day and is starting to sleep longer during nap times, even at school!
Favorite things- This month he is much more interested in faces! He grabs at our faces, and enjoys books with faces. He also loves his books even more this month and helps turn pages. He still LOVES to be outside! Loves the trees, leaves, and grass and can talk to them for hours. It feels like he does something new everyday!
